Tactical fleet combat · Windows PC

Command the fleet.

Build a fleet to a strict point budget, take the bridge, and outmanoeuvre your rivals in real-time battles across a three-dimensional space arena.

In development · Closed testing under way

The game

A naval war, fought in three dimensions.

Battle Arena is a real-time tactics game about fleets, not reflexes. Every ship has weight, momentum and a firing arc. The commander who reads the battle wins it.

01 / Muster

Build to a budget

Every fleet is point-bought. A capital ship costs what a wing of fighters costs, and fights like it. Spend your budget on a few titans or a swarm of hunters. The choice is the first move of the battle.

02 / Manoeuvre

Fight like a navy

Big hulls hit hard, soak damage and turn slowly. Small ships are fast, cheap and fragile. Momentum, turn rates and weapon arcs are real, so position, range and timing decide the fight.

03 / Command

Command, don't twitch

RTS controls built for fleets: control groups, marquee selection, camera focus and per-ship abilities. Issue orders, set up broadsides, and pull damaged ships back behind your repair line.

The fleet

Forty-nine hulls. Ten shipyards.

From single-seat racers to command ships with a hundred crew, every hull flies with its own speed, armour, shields and weapons. Select a ship, then drag to turn it.

    Role
    Crew

Twelve of the forty-nine hulls shown. Renders are made from the in-game ship models.

    Battle systems

    More than who shoots first.

Battles run on shields, action points, ore and ammunition. A fleet that ignores its logistics loses to one that doesn't.

    Abilities and action points

Spend action points on Shield Overcharge, Afterburner and Broadside Salvo, fleet-wide or ship by ship. Timing an overcharge against an incoming salvo turns a battle.

    Mining and ammunition

Guns draw on finite ammunition. Park a mining ship beside an asteroid to pull ore and keep the fleet supplied, and protect it, because your opponent will go for it.

    Repair and support

Support hulls project repair auras. Rotate wounded ships behind the line, let them recover, and send them back in before the enemy can finish them.

    The match clock

Ten, fifteen or twenty minutes, by format. If the clock runs out, damage dealt and ore mined decide the winner, so an evasive fleet still has to earn its victory.

    Salvage drops

Destroyed ships leave hull, shield and action-point salvage for anyone quick enough to reach it. A clean kill in the right place pays twice.

    Control groups

Bind squadrons to number keys, recall them instantly, and give each group its own banner. Double-click a ship to select its whole class.

    From the hangar

Every ship is the real thing.

The hulls in Battle Arena are built from the Star Atlas ship models, each tuned with its own handling, durability and firepower, then refined through closed testing.

    Online

    Built for fair fights.

Our servers are the authority. Fleets, ready checks and match results are validated server-side and never taken on trust from a player's machine.
